Application of wire rope sling

1. The minimum distance of the braided part of each buckle shall not be less than 10 times of the nominal diameter of the wire rope

2. Each strand of self inserting wire rope sling shall be inserted at least five times, and at least three of the five times shall be made of the whole rope. There shall be no joint in the middle, and only one joint is allowed for ring sling

3. Before using the wire rope, the sling specification shall be selected reasonably according to the weight of the object and the mode of transportation. It is strictly prohibited to exceed the allowable tension. At the same time, the impact force shall be avoided. Single sling shall not be used for lifting. When lifting objects with sharp edges and corners, it is necessary to add padding, and the pure steel wire sling is not allowed to directly contact these objects, so as to prevent the angle between the legs of the steel wire rope sling from being too straight during cutting and lifting. Generally, it is not allowed to exceed 90 degrees, and the maximum is not allowed to exceed 120 degrees under special circumstances

4. It is forbidden for wire rope sling to touch live metal or be injured by electric welding or electric arc. If it cannot be avoided, insulation measures shall be taken

5. Before use, carefully check the wear, corrosion, broken wire and other damage of the wire rope sling, and prohibit the use of the sling that reaches the scrapping condition
